This policy explains the limited information we handle when you visit malagadine.com. We keep our data footprint deliberately small.
No account, no sign-up: you can browse everything, and add the free Málaga Dine Passport to your home screen, without registering or giving us any personal details. We don't collect names, email addresses or payment information to show you the listings.
Analytics: to understand which pages are useful, we use privacy-first, cookieless analytics (Plausible). It records only aggregate, anonymised figures such as page views, country and referring site — with no cookies and nothing that identifies you personally. We never track you across other websites.
The Passport & your discounts: adding the Málaga Dine Passport to your home screen simply saves a shortcut on your device — it holds no personal data. Discounts are set and applied by each participating venue's own checkout when you present the Passport; Málaga Dine never processes your payment or sees your bill.
Listing a venue: if you list a restaurant or dining venue with us, we collect the business details and contact email you submit, and payment is handled securely by our payment processor (Stripe). We use these only to set up and support your listing.
Cookies: this site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own, and our analytics is cookieless.
Email: if you write to us, we use your message and address only to reply and to keep a record of the exchange. We won't add you to any marketing list.
Hosting & security: the site is delivered by our hosting company, which may process standard technical request data such as your IP address to serve pages securely and reliably.
Your rights & changes: because we hold no data that identifies you beyond any listing you submit or email you send, there is normally nothing to access or delete; if you'd like your inquiry or listing details removed, just ask. Under the GDPR you may also contact your local data protection authority. We may update this policy as the site evolves — the current version always lives on this page.
